Image Quality in SquareSpace Email Marketing

I'm sorry, I have not found a solution yet :( -
I am struggling with the image quality in my email campaigns. I have referred to and followed SquareSpace's recommendations for sizing images in email campaigns, but for some reason, the quality of my images is still greatly reduced. Wondering if this happens to others and if any one has found a work around?
