ConnorCF
There is some code I added into this site where font links on hover change colour. This was working fine, however as I have added more bits of code into the website (client asked to remove hover change colour apart from h4) whenever I add a new h4 link it doesn't change colour on hover, however all the ones I did ages ago still change colour on hover. There is a list of services on the home page of website which all change colour, apart from the latest addition to the list which doesn't change on hover despite being h4 and a link. I fear I may have contradicting code or a bug as I have had to add more in (and I don't know how to use code). Site link www.covecompliance.co.nz Password : Cove Link to comment
Spark-Plugin
Hey @ConnorCF! I’m guessing you’re having a pretty great day, right? I’ll be helping you out now. Please follow the steps below, but first, make sure to remove the code you have in place. Navigate to Pages > Website Tools > Custom CSS. Paste the following code into the CSS editor. Hit Save and you’re done. h1, h2, h3, h4, p { a:hover { color: #0EF36F !important; } } Let me know if that works, thanks. ConnorCF
Hey @Spark-Plugin Thanks! This works as it's meant to however the "compliance Schedule Updates" text which is the same styles as the text above does not change colour on hover. Which is really random. Is there maybe a bug? Or something I can't see that's causing this hover effect to not work? Link to comment
Spark-Plugin
Hello again, @ConnorCF! Yes, it could be a bug. You can try these two options: Remove all the code you have on your website (if you have). Paste it into a Google Doc or something for backup, then only add the code I provided. See if that works. If it does, then it's likely some other code you’re using that’s causing the issue. Delete the Compliance Schedule Updates text, then duplicate the Compliance Audit text. If that works, just change the duplicated text to Compliance Schedule Updates. Let me know. Thank you. - Answered by Iuno from sparkplugin.com Link to comment
ConnorCF
Thanks again @Spark-Plugin Have tried both of those options, and it still is the only text that doesn't change state on hover. So i think it must have to stay like that, or we remove all hover animations for consistency. Thanks again for all your help! Link to comment

It looks like a text accent has been added to the last link in your list (manually setting the font colour using the text formatting toolbar). If you remove this (hit the Tx button), the CSS should work as expected. If you want to keep the accent and have the hover effect, the CSS selector will need to include 'span' to affect this link.
