Transferred domains and site still not live

Hi

I have a SS domain and transferred it yesterday to a new site within SS.  Today I cancelled the old site subscription and set up a new one for the new site.  I've had confirmation that the domain has transferred, it is set to public... but when I go to the URL it says the site has expired and if I log in in takes me to the old one.

I can't get any help from SS.  Is there something I haven't done or is it about waiting?

I read that article previously, but my old site doesn't seem to be active in that it now doesn't give me the option to make it private or public.

Will I ever get any response from SquareSpace?
