Switch to a different block for mobile, and have both centre aligned and not cropped by block size

Hey folks,

looking to quite simply have two different (text) blocks  displayed - one portrait orientation for mobile, without the ':', and one landscape for comp. and to have these centre aligned and not constricted by the image block confines.

essentially, the same as www.studionynex.com 's cover page.

If anyone can help with the speed at which the page responds to the size of the window, too, that'd be mega!! atm it seems a bit laggy, whereas studionynex.com seems really smooth.
