You can see that there is a sticky sidebar ("Table of contents") on the right side.

I want that same sticky sidebar that when users click one of the sidebar menus it will auto scroll down/up to that section.

I am using version 7.1 Squarespace, personal plan

I have tried using anchor links, but there were two main issues:

1. the page 'redirects' to that section (w/o scrolling animation)

2. I don't know how to create a sticky sidebar. I was only able to create a hyperlink with anchor links .

Is there a way I can create that on Squarespace? Is it impossible to do that on the personal plan

Yes!! This is the exact design I want to implement. Almost EXACTLY the same haha. I want to add a sidebar on the left side without any outline strokes--just like that

I built this custom feature.

@sorca_marian Oh I am not interested in plugins, I meant custom building this feature. Do you know if it's possible to build/add a code to the personal plan website? If so could you give me some guidance? (I have a very basic understanding of html&css but I have never used a code before on my Squarespace website.) According to this page personal plan users can use "Code block (Basic)" and "CSS Editor."
