Unable to add gradient to buttons

Password for site: brandboost -excuse the incompleteness still working

Cant seem to add gradient to my buttons

i tried

background: #414d0b;
background: -webkit-linear-gradient(to right, #727a17, #414d0b);
background: linear-gradient(to right, #727a17, #414d0b);
}

(Not the colors ill use) 

I used custom code for my titles to add gradient which seemed to work. Maybe i have button defined as something else. 

Maybe if someone can create a custom code that would be great. Thanks in advance
