account dashboard So, there's still no way to build a staging environment, huh?

I just wanted to confirm--I have a potential client who wants to redesign her site. I don't want to work on it live because we are making significant changes. Is there still no way to set up a duplicate environment where you can make changes before taking them live? 

Squarespace doesn't provide a staging platform. I suspect this is because SS is aimed at the DIY market and most folks who DIYers are not web whizzes who might know the difference between a staging and production server.

Although not as elegant as having a staging server, it is possible to manage a site redesign with the creative use of hidden pages, duplicate or trial sites. How you use these elements depends on the project.
