Absolute beginner here, though in the past I’ve used Wordpress.  There’s something I can’t figure out, through help and google searches. I want to use templates to set up a page containing categories for products in the antiques world; mirrors, tables, lighting etc.  At this point, no e-shop is needed (maybe later). I want visitors to be able to click on an image which takes them to a dedicated page eg for mirrors, with separate images with details of each item.  How do I set up these sub pages or galleries?  Thanks and sorry if this is totally obvious how to do! Paul

Even if this is not an ecommerce site, you can add a Store page and add your products to this.

If you add a category to each product, you can then show a category filter on the page that allows users to easily move between mirrors, tables, lighting, and so on.

If you'd like a landing page with thumbnails for each category, you can create this manually by adding images to a standard layout page. In the settings for each image, add a link to each store category.

For example, if your store page has the url /store and the product category is "mirrors" you can use the link /store?category=mirrors to direct users to a page showing products in this category.
