AmityRich
Hello, I have Printful set up and connected to my store. I sell beer made by us and held in our warehouse and merch from Printful sent on demand direct to the customer. I would like to make the most of their automation but the issue is when a customer chooses click & collect, the orders will not import because there is not an address passed through, I've had this confirmed on a Printful support chat. Currently when people order a mix of beer & merch, the majority choose click and collect, so I only get one fulfilment charge from Printful and I get that order shipped to our brewery by adding the order manually, and I then do not have a second shipping charge from my courier as the customer collects. The solution from Printful after a technical support chat, in order for orders to import manually, is to create a custom profile which does not offer click and collect, and the customer then has to choose delivery to their house, therefore incurring the £4.99 charge. Many of our customers are local to us so click & collect is important as it is free for them. I fear this will not only put them off ordering, but also what happens if they order a mix of beer and merch, I now definitely get two shipping charges. My question is, is there a way to pass through our address to Printful, attaching our venue address through the pickup setting option in the admin panel. If I pass the address through, surely my orders will import. Many Thanks Link to comment
domestica
We just ran into this same issue with our Printful shop connected to our SS site. Received a local pickup order, so the order wasn’t sent along to Printful. We worked shipping into the total cost, so even being able to have these orders go through with the customer’s address would be a HUGE help. We can deal with educating customers how it works. Also, thanks in advance if some one fixes this for us🤩 Link to comment
