Tags - Case sensitivity on mobile app

Our site uses tags on each blog post to help with both analytics and searchability of products. 

At one point, I cleaned house and adjusted all tags such that they would be the correct case (since the are case sensitive). 

Recently, when blogging from my phone via the SS app, I noticed that all tags, regardless of input, were immediately adjusted to lowercase. 

Why is this happening? Is anyone else seeing this?
