JusChow
So I recently started working on squarespace and I couldnt help but notice that the grid I have to work with is always in the middle. I want to be able to add stuff on the sides of my website but as you can see from the picture my grid boxes are clustered to the middle. If this is a mistake can anyone let me know what I can do to fix? And if there is code for increasing grid columns can anyone let me know? Link to comment
Solution Lesum Posted August 24, 2023 Solution Share Posted August 24, 2023 @JusChow It's not recommended to change the number of grid columns. There's a bunch of stuff happening in the background that relies on how many columns are there. Tinkering with this might actually mess up the whole site and make it impossible to drag and drop elements on the Squarespace editor! But, if you want to widen things up a bit, you can head over to Site Styles > Spacing > Page Width (Max). That's the safer way to change the width of the grid. Hope that helps. - Sam tuanphan 1 If my comments were useful, please like or mark my solution as answer so others can scroll to it quickly.
