How to adjust the blog's slideshow of gallery blocks (version 7.1) ?

Hi, 

Does anyone know how to adjust the gallery's slideshow display size on the blog (version 7.1)? Right now, it appears too large to me, and I would like to reduce its height. For instance, displaying it in a 1:3 landscape format would be ideal.

When you go in to edit the blog page and go under "Edit Section" have you played around with the under of columns and the horizontal & vertical spacing?

However, I'm referring to the gallery block's slideshow used on the 'blog page.' I couldn't find anywhere to adjust the slideshow height. Do you have any solution on that, too :)?

Can you share link to a blog where you use slideshow? And adjust height on desktop or all devices?

I think it's nothing to do with my display devices, as the SQS default slideshow is quite large.

So you want to adjust height for all devices?

Just in case my previous comment is not clear, I'm consolidating my ideal scenarios as followings:

PC view → the gallery block is about w1353 x h903 pixel , and the ideal size is w1353 x h540 pixel ( 2.5:1 ratio)
 
Mobile view → the gallery block is about w364 x h242 pixel , and the ideal size is w364 x h637 pixel ( 2:3.5 ratio)

PC view → the gallery block is about w1584 x h1056 pixel , and the ideal size is w1584 x h634 pixel ( 2.5:1 ratio)
 
Mobile view → the gallery block is about w414 x h303 pixel , and the ideal size is w414x h725 pixel ( 2:3.5 ratio)
 
There will be more creative layout we can do once we knew how to adjust the gallery block (slideshow) height.  Thank you so much : )
 

Try adding this to Design > Custom CSS

I tried to add codes that you provides, and there were 2 issues:
(1), the sliding pictures became deformed.
(2), there's a big empty space (like a spacer) under the slideshow.

Can you disable slideshow autoplay? We can check it easier

Hi @tuanphan, I disabled the autoplay, and the picture is still deformed. FYI.
