How do I edit/activate the unsubscribe button in the email marketing platform ?

I am sure this is super obvious but in the email marketing platform I can't seem to edit or activate the unsubscribe button -  when I send a test email it doesnt do anything when I hit it so I dont think its working and I dont want to send a campaign without fixing it.

The unsubscribe link is created automatically and there are limited options to style it because, for legal reasons, it should always be visible. The link is also deactivated in test emails so they don't affect your unsubscribe analytics.
