Checkout with order pickup date picker

Hi 

I am working on a website for a florist. They are local pick-up only. However, they would like their customer to be able to choose available dates and times for pickup at checkout. 

Is this possible with scheduling? Or another solution?

Ah unfortunately the date field doesn't really provide date picking. Rather, they are open fields to type in a date also the website owner cannot change the availability dates. 

That's very true, it's very open-ended.

You could use the scheduler to do this, but it may be hard to link the sale to the scheduled pick-up automatically.
