Broken links and removed pages - how to find on your site

Hello

I have lots of old / broken links and old pages being linked to in my content according to google analytics. But how can I find and replace them within the content on my site? Is there are 'search and replace' function with squarespace?

Typically it's a manual process, just going through each page methodically and changing the links, there's no search-and-replace functionality.

There are a number of tools online that allow you to run checks for broken links

I usually use this free tool to find broken/404 links

Hi all,  

I have an issue regarding the dead link for the website www.shearose.com. I audited it for dead/broken links and I always get the same 2 dead links. I have no idea where they are/how to retrieve them so that I can fix them, I've been trying everything so far. I've looked at the photos and relinked them, I've looked at the CSS - nothing there...Maybe someone here has an idea? Thanks so much, I appreciate all the help!

If I use other tools, like https://www.brokenlinkcheck.com/ these links don't come up. So it's really weird, not sure which tool to trust. I also tried the Google Chrome extension "Check my links" and these don't show up either...

I think the tool has a bug

because first link is fine, no error

with second link, I can't find it on your site

Because the site has password, the tool can't access it

Yes. If your website is not live every page is a 404 redirect to the password page.

Intend to try this snail-ray-daxz.squarespace.com?password=freelance but it still doesn't work, when you make site live, you can check again
