MelSH Posted March 31, 2023 Share Posted March 31, 2023 Hi there, I have a weird anomaly that I've experienced in 2 different sites that I'm working on. I have set the parameters of headings and body copy and when I'm in edit mode, everything looks great. However, as soon as I click save and exit edit mode my H1 text becomes huge. I can't change it because when I'm in edit mode it's perfect. I don't believe I have any CSS in either site that's conflicting with it. It's driving me crazy and the sites aren't presentable to clients as they look really bad. Can anyone help!? So I'm sizing things up in EDIT mode to fit in a certain area and it all looks great. I click SAVE and everything gets bigger, text overlaps, things look really messy. My current workaround is to work 'blind' on my layouts, clicking save to then see whether I've guessed correctly and put stuff in the right place. HELP!!! 😭 @tuanphan ?? Anybody!! I'm using a second screen (32" 4K BenQ HDR) and I've scaled the resolution to 2560 x 1440) – I doubt this would make a difference as I've never had an issue with anything else, but thought I'd mention it just incase?? When I expand my browser window the text gets smaller, when I shrink my browser window the text gets larger!! It's happening on 2 site builds. The text size in edit mode is different to the text size when I click save and when I expand and shrink my browser window. Site needs to go live tomorrow and I'm desperate for a solution!
