Subscription: Customer Editing

Hi all, I have a question re subscriptions. Will my subscribers have the flexibility to change the variant within their subscription on a monthly basis? We are working on having four variants and want the customer to have control of which variant they receive each month if they want to change. All prices obviously the same.

No. A subscription cannot be changed after purchase. The item, frequency and price will always remain the same until the subscription is cancelled.

Thanks Paul, so to fully understand

• the customer cannot amend the "variant" after the initial purchase, even though the subscription gives that option at the time of purchase? 
• I cannot amend the price on an annual or bi-annual basis along with market changes such as inflation?

Correct. The customer cannot amend the "variant" after the initial purchase, and the merchant cannot amend the price for existing subscriptions. If you amend the  price, it will only affect subscriptions that started after the price increase.
