GemmaErnst
Hello! I am having some issues with my CSS being overridden and I cannot figure out where/why. I have customised the site colours to display this grey colour, however, the header and background colour are displaying differently even though the CSS is the same for the home page. The navigation links should be displaying white, but they too are being overridden. Has anyone experienced this before, and if so, do you know how to fix it? Many thanks in advance! Link to comment
Ziggy
Can you share your website URL? What CSS are you using to tweak the header colours? GemmaErnst
Hey @ZiggyOh my bad, I thought it shared the URL also. https://www.indetailprojects.com.au/ The header needs to be #2b2a29 but for some reason it's being overridden by something somewhere - I have a feeling you've helped me with this before but it seems to have reverted back. The nav links need to be white. Link to comment
Ziggy
Yes, you've certainly got conflicting CSS: You can see how there are two lines of CSS doing opposite things, both with !important, so the one that is further down your Custom CSS is the one that is taking effect. Can you comb through and try and find both instances? Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. Cheers! GemmaErnst
Hey @Ziggy Awesome, thank you! I can't find the conflicting code for the header though - I can only find #343333 when it needs to be #2b2a29 Link to comment
Ziggy
It looks like it's only wrong on the homepage, have you checked the page header code injection for the homepage?
