Commerce: Advance Plan - How do I add SORT & FILTER functionality without using categories

Hello,

I am needing some help and I hope someone can assist. I have the advance commerce plan with Squarespace. I have set up categories on my shop such as by brand of items. However I want customers to easily filter their search by colour, size, unisex/women or male or budget for example. And sort by recently added, high to low or low to high or alphebectially. As shown in the example of the toast website. Is this possible at all please?

I am wanting it easier for customers to find products on my store.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Sian

There isn't a built-in feature but there is an excellent plugin you can purchase that will add features like this.

It is called Universal Filter.

This is a BASIC feature that should be offered by SS for free. They are very behind on this, esp considering it's been asked for for years now. Shopify offers it for FREE as part of their monthly charge. Come on SS, catch up. My clients call or email me asking if I have anything in their size b/c they don't want to have to spend an hour clicking on 50 individual products to see if their size is available so instead I have to do it - not having this is costing clients, which is making a switch to Shopify seemlike the way to go.
