Abandoned Shopping Cart

Hello, I am really hoping you can help me with this request.  

I want to see what inventory customers/visitors to my online store put in their cart.  I know the information is stored because when I go to Analytics\Abandoned Cart, I can see the number of abandoned carts, total revenue in those abandoned carts.

The products abandoned in those carts is important because it may provide pricing and marketing information that I can use for future marketing and pricing.

Is it possible to see what was placed in a cart and abandoned? 

Hello.  thank you for responding.  So there is no custom code I can add to extract this information?

I did create and submit an email.  I will keep my fingers crossed.

Correct. The data cannot be accessed with code. 

Oh god.. sorry to say but it's ridiculous.. abandoned cart has two functions: know the product that costumers are willing to buy and send an e-mail to get conclude de purchase.. its bizarre that SQ doesn't show these information.. 

Has there been and update for this? As a retail store selling clothes, this information is crucial as we need to understand what the pain/ friction points are present and need to be addressed.

No. The email address is not available.

Coming back to this. Any update? This is one of the reasons I want to switch to Shopify because they have features and analytics like this that squarespace does not. This would be really helpful for analytics as well as cart recovery. 

I have sent an email but I am hoping this is a feature that they add. This is a big one that would make someone switch to another platform.

Im trying to figure how to find the people who abandoned the cart. We didnt have the automated email until after. Is there a way to recover these clients?

I’m setting up abandoned cart emails for a client who uses Squarespace and prefers Flodesk for email marketing. Is it possible to use Zapier to trigger Flodesk emails for abandoned carts on Squarespace instead of relying on Squarespace’s email system? Has anyone done this successfully?

No. It isn't possible to use any third party tool because, Squarespace does not make the abandoned checkout information available.
