Font won't change color??? No matter what I do to fix it

Hello I am trying to change the font color of the Header "Perspectives" and the paragraph right underneath it to white. However every time I try and change the font color or change the font color for Large Header and Large Paragraph to white in the theme editor it does not work and continues to stay black. I have also tried adding a code block above the Header "Perspectives" and adding: 
h1 {
    color: ffffff !important;
}
but it doesn't work either. Any chance you might know how to fix the font not changing color? Thank you. Our website is: www.morgancreekventures.com
