dotandpeg
Site URL: https://azalea-bullfrog-8dhz.squarespace.com/film Hi, I have a series of 9 image blocks https://azalea-bullfrog-8dhz.squarespace.com/film. I want each image block to have a yellow opacity overlay and title to appear when hovered over. I also want users to be able to click the overlay which will take them to another page of the same site. On a previous site I designed, I could achieve most of this my using image poster blocks and some CSS for the transparent background. But the new Fluid Engine CSS does not have this image poster block option. Here is an image for what I want to achieve: Top left box has a yellow overlay & 'Savage Waters' title appear on overlay. If the users clicks anywhere on the yellow box I want the use to go to https://azalea-bullfrog-8dhz.squarespace.com/savage_waters Thanks Laura Link to comment

Unfortunately I gave up and reverted to just using a classic section and poster image blocks. Would love to see a solution for this on Fluid Engine though, as I use this functionality a lot 🤦🏽♂️ Working version is on adelska.com, the incomplete Fluid Section is still on https://bronze-sunfish-y8k7.squarespace.com, password “hello” Edited August 30, 2022 by PatrickJ Anemone and ilseS 2 Link to comment
tuanphan
Yes. Use Classic Editor will be easier. In Fluid Engine, to achieve hover with Image Blocks, will require a lot of code. If you want to achieve hover, consider Gallery Block, Gallery Section, List Section, Summary Block. Anemone 1 Email me if you have need any help (free, of course.). Answer within 24 hours.
