TTaylor
Site URL: https://www.travelsandtreasures.com Hi, I don't know what/how but... I'm trying to get my /about page correctly named. Instead, I have to use /Aboutme or something less obvious in naming convention. When I try to rename it to /about I get this error. I have no other pages with this name (I checked). Please offer suggestions or steps on how I can resolve this. Thank you so much! Link to comment

Check that you haven't deleted a page with this URL slug, for example, the demo content about page. URL slugs can't match content in the 'trash can'. To reuse a deleted page or post's URL slug, empty the 'trash can', or restore the deleted page or post, change its URL, then delete it again so you can reuse the URL. About: SQSP User for 17 yrs. Hi, Unfortunately, it occured over 30 days ago so it is not in the trash can. I think I found another way via URL mapping: /about -> /aboutme 301 Edited June 25, 2022 by TTaylor Link to comment
paul2009
If it isn't in the trash can, it may be worth double-checking that you don't have a page using this URL slug - for example, a page you have disabled. If no such page exists, I recommend you contact Squarespace Customer Care so they can investigate. About: SQSP User for 17 yrs. Circle Leader since 2017.
