Customise style of carousel arrows in 7.0 (Brine)

Hello, 

I'm trying to customise the style of the previous / next arrows on a summary carousel in SS 7.0. 

Attached is a screenshot of the style I'm trying to achieve - a longer arrow, with pagination (showing the slide numbers) in the middle of the previous / next arrows. Is this possible in Squarespace? Can anyone give me pointers on how to do this?
