All my product pages show blank images until I click on the blank image and then see the product details. If I edit a product product and override the "featured images, is by default the 1st image associated with the product" then it shows up properly. Is this a setting I can change? This is why they are missing; your site is reporting a 404 error for each missing image. This appears to be a current issue - although nothing has been posted on the status page yet, I've seen a few examples of this. If you haven't already done so, please report this to Squarespace Customer Care so they can escalate it.
