beachside
I am using the Peak template and need to remove the white block around my logo. I have saved the logo just as a selection in Photoshop with a transparent background but this does not help. I have found a code injection suggestion on this forum <.logo-image .logo img { background-color: none; }>and placed it in the header code but it does not seem to work either. For my client's sake I need the block around the logo to disappear. https://beachsidecafeatsandcastle.squarespace.com Link to comment
JamesTarbotton
You need to create a transparent PNG file:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLA2FaOXkkg If you don't have photoshop, the same look can be achieved inside of the stock preview app on the mac:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxQmp4vY0qs Alternatively, you can use GIMP which is available for both Mac and PC and is a great alternate option to photoshop:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1l_8soySfc Hope that helps!
