How to add extra columns (more than 6) in gallery block?

In the image gallery underneath the Speakerdeck embed and description and button, I'd like for all of the image previews to be the same size, and I'd like for them to remain small. (I want it to look similar to this site and how she displays her boards.)

If I do the Simple Grid with 6 columns, the images are far too large, and if I do the Grid Strips the images resize weirdly based on the size of the browser window. (What I have on the site right now is Grid Strips)

What type of gallery block should I use, and is there any custom CSS I could use to get the desired look?

You can use Gallery Grid with 6 columns, then we can change 6 to 8, 9...or make images smaller
