Altering the events in a Calendar block can be tricky because the events are loaded in a lazy fashion. This means you need a MutationObserver to watch for the events to be loaded so you can alter them. My code is a base effect. It does not make changes on its own. It just does the watching for you. From there it is up to you to write callbacks to do the actual work. This isn't the end all be all of MO's but may be able to help in many cases.
