Changing Button to Form with Auto Layout List Carousel

I'm using a list section that is an auto layout carousel but I need the current buttons to actually open up a form in a lightbox. Is there any way to edit to make that possible? Or if that's not possible - how can I recreate this exact carousel manually so that I can change the button to be a form instead?
