Bulk Upload csv - error: Products with multiple variants must have options

Hi,

I am attempting to upload a product csv.

I have encountered an error message related to variants. But I do not have any variants in my product, nor did I organize my data in the csv that way.

I followed the instruction about csv upload. Those [not editable] columns are blank. Since I did not have any variants, all option names/option values are in blank. I checked there was any duplicated row, which might make SS think that I have variants. But there was no duplicate rows.

Does anyone have similar experience? I hope someone could point me to the right direction. Thanks!

The solution to this is the product type field should not be empty for newly added products.

By setting it to PHYSICAL, SS recognized the product and added the new items.
