Steve-M Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 Site URL: https://www.liosbikes.com Is there any way for the shipping fee to be based on the total cart value? We offer two shipping fees: FREE for items over £99.00 and a £5.00 shipping fee for cart value up to £99.00. The issue is that people can just click on the FREE option irrespective of their cart value. I've searched on the forums, but cannot find anything. I am not a coding specialist, but I'd like to think this would be an easy option for Squarespace to have on their platform?! Does anyone know of a work around? Thanks in advance Steve
paul2009 Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 You can do this using automatic discounts, but you must be on the Commerce Advanced plan. Rather than creating a separate free shipping option, create an ‘Automatic Discount’ to automatically apply ‘Free Shipping’ if the customer’s subtotal is equal to or over a certain price. The subtotal is the cost of all products, before tax and shipping. Me: I'm Paul, a SQSP user for >18 yrs & Circle Leader since 2017. I value honesty, transparency, diversity and good design ♥.
