Guest
Site URL: https://themeasureofanepisode.squarespace.com I use Podtrac as a third party podcast download tracker via the "Podcast Analytics URL" field in the Podcasting upload section of our blog post. Currently, Podtrac is reporting we get an average of 20 listens per episode. However, the Squarespace RSS Subscribers Analytics is reporting around 3,500 subscribers per day, which is a giant discrepancy. I understand a download and a subscriber isn't the same thing. But, what could be the reason for such a discrepancy? Link to comment
MissionControl
Hey there, I don't have an answer for your question. However, I would like to add Podtrac to my site as well, would be able to guide me in setting it up? I see the instructions but it's not clear to me. Any help would be appreciated. Link to comment

I use podtrac also and have almost the exact same numbers you have posted here though a few less rss subs. Why the discrepancy and honestly what exactly is an rss subscriber? Link to comment
