1. iTunes allows the inclusion of links in an episode description tag using the following format:

Apple

I have tried adding links in my Squarespace audio blog post description for iTunes but they get stripped out. I checked the RSS feed generated by Squarespace and noticed the following:

For all comments on today’s episode, please use this link.

Are the links being stripped because there is no
tags in the RSS feed? Has anyone had any success in adding links to their episode descriptions? And why does Squarespace add the
tag at the beginning of the description? It doesn't seem to do anything and could this be the reason the links are being stripped? Thanks
2. Hello everyone, I would like to embed an RSS feed from a RateYourMusic.com profile into my SquareSpace blog, however, I'm unable to do so with custom code as RYM does not have CORS enabled for its RSS feed. Is it possible to use other means to embed the RSS feed? Kind regards, pesty_samurai
3. I am desperate to get all of my e-mail marketing out of Mailchimp and into Squarespace but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do an automated e-mail campaign where people receive an e-mail every time a new blog post is published. Is this possible? I basically want to create a template that is populated and triggered by an RSS feed. Like this: https://us11.campaign-archive.com/?e=95ace6cb16&u=40a022775bd326fb61d6fd9e4&id=e97973261b I run a collaborative blog that publishes essays 3x a week. How can I sync our new content with an e-mail campaign? Some people prefer to read via e-mail ...
4. Hi,I used to host my podcast in squarespace, but recently I switched to podbean. When I was hosting it on squarespace the rss feed was created through audioblogs, resulting in blog-posts with seperate sites for each episodes. This came in handy for the google search function, because when you googled the name of my guest and "interview" the seperate blog-post page popped up immediately. It does not do so with the podbean site and that makes me wonder if it is possible to automatically create a blog post page from my external rss feed or through some other workaround. This would also help with google ads, because these sites could be the landing pages of specific ads. Thanks for help!Jan
5. I've set up my Mailchimp e-mail campaign, but the RSS feed formatting doesn't display the latest post. It merely displays the blog title, but no other content. HELP! I've tried everything.
6. I have been in the process of migrating all of my Mailchimp lists and campaigns over to Squarespace, but the one thing I can't seem to figure out is RSS campaigns. I currently have around 3,000 people subscribed to get an e-mail when a new essay goes live on our site. Can I do this in Squarespace? How? I just want a simple automated e-mail that is triggered by the RSS feed.
7. I would like to build a feed aggregator or news aggregator can anyone provide me with a starting point
8. I'm working with a site that had had an invalid URL entered in it's RSS Replacement URL field - so when trying to access the RSS feed at the correct URL (sitename.com/slug?format=rss), it was redirecting to this invalid URL. I have now removed that URL and that field is now blank, but the RSS URL continues to redirect to that old, incorrect URL. Is it just a matter of waiting for the servers to update to remove this redirect, or is there something I'm missing?
9. Hi,as the title says I want to have the 301 redirect for my old podcast feed (https://www.futurehistories.today/podcast-episoden?format=rss) kept in place even though I diable the blog that created the rss-feed once. I tried disabling the site and putting in a manual redirect (/podcast-episoden?format=rss -> https://futurehistories.podbean.com/feed.xml 301), but it didn't work. I need this because if I don't disable the old blog page it will still pop up in search results and I can't put in a redirect for the blog page if the blog page is still enabled (a bit like -><-).Any help is highly appreciated . BestJan
10. I uploaded the podcast and it plays in RSS feed. I tested it with putting my RSS feed in iTunes with "Subscribe to podcast." It shows the art and decription and title of episode, but whenever I click play, it will quickly run a load bar saying "Reading item..." and then nothing happens. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
11. I would like to create a page, preferably using an Events template, to create a Team Member page. We are a business that contracts jobs out to people so would like for them to be able to privately see the page (easy to do with a common password) but also receive notifications when the page updates (apparently this capability existed using Audiences and Members in SS5 but is gone now?). I thought about using RSS but I don't believe it can find password-protected pages (and seems to be a much more convoluted way to pull this off since I deal with a few folks who are not so tech-savvy). Any ideas? Using member pay services is not the way to go as I've seen in many answers since we do not charge contractors to fulfill the jobs. I also want to ensure it's not visible to search engines, which I believe is accomplished by turning on "hide all pages from search engines" on the SEO tab within Events.
12. What is the best way to display a RSS feed from my Facebook Fan Page on my website? Should I drop the RSS feed into a Code Block? If so how should I format it?
