Product filter drop down in version 7.1?

Hey guys, is there a way to make a filter button for the product pages, like: search by date, price lowest to highest, free shipping, etc. 

Try this Filter Plugin. You can create filter features, support both Gallery Page, Portfolio Page, Blog Page, Product Page, Summary Blocks. 

You can also use it to add search, sorf by Price/Alphabetically,...

We are trying make a Button based search function to reference a blog that contains video posts with tags and Categories. I'd be interested to hear any brainwaves.

No, mostly because we don't want another subscription service. We're already over 5 digits in our payments and adding a paid button just isn't in the budget right now. If you know of a way to add one for free, I'm all ears. More than anything I would really like to organize the product pages as the categories show up at the top of every page instead of just as I add them. The pages look very disorganized and I'm just trying to find a way to make them look better for the customers, or at least a way to see the products grouped together.
