goumay
Site URL: https://www.stellahaumont.com/test Hi, I am trying to use that exact implementation on my website: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/places-searchbox Basically, it's about having a search box with autocompletion for searching for locations on google map Testing the code in fiddle works great (https://jsfiddle.net/pz9k5dux/), but implementing it in a custom code in a page does not display the map at all (the search box is there). Do you have any clue about what possibly would be missing? Thanks in advance. Link to comment
creedon
I don't have a solution but I noticed chrome inspector reported some errors... util.js:230 Google Maps JavaScript API warning: InvalidKey https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#invalid-key $z.o @ util.js:230 13:32:17.232 js?key=API_KEY&callback=initAutocomplete&libraries=places&v=weekly:78 Google Maps JavaScript API error: InvalidKeyMapErrorhttps://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#invalid-key-map-error Find my contributions useful? goumay
Yes thx, it's because I let API_KEY instead of putting my own personal key. But this should not prevent the map from being displayed properly Link to comment
