Display Sales Data by SKU

Hello squarespace experts!

I am looking for advice on a feature I am trying to add to my site. 

Summary: I would like to add client accounts that will display sales information originated from my Squarespace account but only about specific SKU numbers or product names. 

Use: I plan to sell merchandise for individuals. They get a commission of the sales so I would like them to be able to log into a client account and see real time how many sales they have made. 

Method: I am looking into using memberstack to generate and manage the accounts (I'm open to other methods though). This is new to me but I think I can work out adding the code and setting it up. However, I am not sure how to display information from the Squarespace website and how to limit it to specific SKU numbers or product names per account. 

If you have any resources, videos, or advice that I could research I would be very grateful for the help.

You will not be able to build a real-time solution to do this on the Squarespace platform, because you do not have access to the backend data. The order information can be extracted using Squarespace APIs, but this could only be done from a non-Squarespace server. 

Forgive me if I state something that seems obvious as I'm new. 

Could I use an API to export order information to an Excel document, create a sub file that only uses the SKU or product information that I want to display, then embed the code in a code block to show the contents?

You could export order information to Excel using the Orders panel. Of course, exporting and embedding won't provide "real time" information.
