crandallwarren Posted August 14, 2020 Share Posted August 14, 2020 Hi all, Here's what I'm trying to do: I would like to have a small form on my homepage that asks for Name and Email. When someone submits it I want them to be redirected to a larger from (or a continuation of that form), where they can provide more info. The problem: I want the forms to be connected somehow, so that, when the person is redirected to the larger version, they don't have to enter they're name and email a second time. The aim is to capture the name and email as early as possible, before they see the longer form and get cold feet. Any thoughts? Thanks! C. Link to comment
paul2009 Posted August 14, 2020 Share Posted August 14, 2020 Whilst it is possible to do this with two Squarespace forms and custom JavaScript, Squarespace really wasn't designed to do this. The better solution is to use one of the many excellent third-party form services that are available and embed it on your Squarespace website. About me: I've been a SQSP User for 18 yrs.
