Multiple Passwords but Not a Membership?

Recommended Posts

I am trying to create multiple passwords on my website, one for each different group I work with. The reason I want to do this is so that I can pull a password from a specific group if need be. I don't want it as sophisticated as a membership login where each individual user has their own login, just so each group of people have the same password. I hope that makes sense.

I tried to do a workaround by using separate password protected pages instead of a sitewide password. I created separate pages for each group with a different password but I wouldn't be able to redirect all these pages to one page without ANOTHER password, unless I don't password protect the main page but that defeats the whole purpose.

Any thoughts?

I think I already know that the answer is this is not possible but thought I'd ask all the brilliant people out there.
