Guest
Hey, y'all! I'm involved in a community connection project, thinking to use the commerce tools to connect letter writers to people who want to receive letters. I'm thinking that we'd label potential recipients as "products" that visitors could select from. But we need a way to indicate which people have (theoretically) been written to. I figure the easiest way would be to have a button on each "product's" page that is just a counter: it says "I commit to contacting this person" and a number on/by the button increments by 1 when anyone clicks the button. Be best if this button would show on the page of product thumbnails, but I'll take what I can get. And if anyone has a suggestion that is less whack than using the commerce tools, I'd love to hear it! Link to comment
derricksrandomviews
Are you going to write to people by email or post mail? If you need a button counter, there are html aps for that: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/22402777/html-javascript-button-click-counter Link to comment
