I think it has to do with conflicting javascript code within the embed and Squarespace. I was testing for error messages on my form. If you have any form of error and try to click submit on the form, it will redirect the entire page to a new window, within my active campaign account rather than staying on my website. I've attached a video of what it should look like, but what is actually happening below. paul2009 Posted April 11, 2020 Share Posted April 11, 2020 It's an Ajax issue. I wrote a guide that explains the issue and suggests alternative solutions. In summary, the JavaScript has not been written to work with Squarespace's Ajax page loader. If you land directly on the contact page, it will work. if a visitor lands on any other page and then navigates to the contact page, it won't. About me: I've been a SQSP User for 18 yrs.
