hide section on mobile - squarespace 7.1

Hi,

I've found reference to hiding blocks on mobile here:

 However it does not appear to be working for me on 7.1 which is a bit of a pain. I have a gallery on my page in a section, firstly it does not report a block ID using the handy Chrome extension referenced in the link above, and the code does not work when I try it on something that does give a block ID.

How can I hide a section on mobile?

I'm brand new to squarespace but not tinkering with code to hide sections so I'm struggling to a not be annoyed by such a simple task thwarting me!

What is access password? Which section?

Hi Tuanphan,

The password is tester123

The section is the waterfall/masonry gallery with all those photos, as you can imagine it does not help the experience on mobile 🙂

I am also trying to figure out how to hide a section from view on mobile.

Hi, @tuanphan I am having an issue with the mobile view. I have hide the footmarks on mobile but whenever someone move the mobile in landscape mode the footmarks start appearing. I want to hide it in landscape mode as well. will be glad if you can help.

I'm trying to find a way to hide the first section on my site on mobile - it includes a video which isn't optimised for mobile and slows down the site load on mobile as well.

Add to Design > Custom CSS
