How to create a demo-site for clients?

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to find a way to share Squarespace websites to possible clients. It seems like the url should look something like this "templatepreview.squarespace.com" - but I'm not sure how these stay active after the 2-week trial period. I noticed it says the built in domain never expires, but every time I click on mind it says the page can't be reached. Any help on this would be so appreciated!

1. If you are Circle Member, you have 6 month trial.

All Squarespace sites are private by default, meaning only site owners and contributors can see it. You have the option to add a site-wide password do that clients can see it before you pay for the site. You’ll find more information about how to set a password here:

The Squarespace domain can only be accessed if the site is in a non-expired trial or has been paid for. To extend the trial, look out for an email from Squarespace. After your trial expires, you'll receive an email from customercare@squarespace.com with the subject "Your trial has expired. Need more time?". You can extend your trial directly from this email.

  1. Search for the email in your inbox.
  2. Click the Extend your trial by seven days link.
  3. You'll be redirected to a page that says "Your trial has been successfully extended." Click Back to your website to log into your trial site.
  4. After logging in, you'll see your trial site as you last left it.
