Bravalia Posted September 27, 2019 Share Posted September 27, 2019 The user experience for PayPal Standard, which is one of only two payment processing options here on Squarespace, where the user/buyer must 1) have a PayPal account and 2) a popup window to a PP screen is presented to the user, is a very poor and very outdated user experience that significantly reduces conversion. No ecommerce site favors this option, and in some cases, Stripe is not an option. However the seemless UX of the Stripe experience is what would be ideal for PP business users. What can we do to lobby Squarespace to upgrade their PayPal offering to include PayPal Payments Pro? Does anyone know of a hack to enable PayPal Payments Pro on a Squarespace website? You can reach out to them here. They'll be sure to document and share it with the appropriate team. You cannot add other payment methods to Squarespace ecommerce through the use of code.
