luanno
I am running "Jaunt" template. I would like for there to be an option in the "Site Styles" of the product pages to have auto aspect ratio such that I could use both horizontal and vertical images. However, under "Products: Gallery" it only gives me preset (non-auto) aspect ratios. Is there a way to enable auto aspect ratio? Link to comment
sew_chibi
I too am looking for guidance with this. Anyone have any css tips? Using Brine (personally). Link to comment
paul2009
You won't find a CSS solution for this because Squarespace use JavaScript to determine the way that the images appear. If the lack of an 'auto' ratio is an issue for you, please submit a feature request to Squarespace by raising a ticket through Customer Care. They'll document your feedback and share it with the appropriate team. They do not monitor this forum for product feature requests Me: I'm Paul, a SQSP user for >18 yrs & Circle Leader since 2017. james2
Thanks Paul for your comments. I have hit exactly this issue with a client who is asking me why all of his images have to be either landscape or portrait. He's selling furniture and some are tall and some are wide and he doesn't have a large warehouse to take clean photos in at the moment. Can someone let me know if they have submitted a feature request. If not, I'll do it. Link to comment
paul2009
Feature requests drive priorities so the more requests they receive, the better the chances that they will recognise this pain point and fix it for us 😀 Me: I'm Paul, a SQSP user for >18 yrs & Circle Leader since 2017.
