Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone

I would like to know if there is a method or any way to add text for a single picture in WEXLEY template.

WEXLEY template has one page with all images like in the image I attached.Then you can click on a single image and look the single one solo. Anyone knows if I can add a text somewhere for a single image ? (I attached another example).

I really hope to get some good answer here.Looking forward to hear from you

Thanks in advance to all of you.Best, x

William

Hi Everyone

thanks for your first answer.

Here my site url https://william-ferchichi.squarespace.com

If you see the first page has all images in the screen, then you can click on one single image and you can see just that image in a single page.In theory I would like to add a text somewhere near the single image. Something as a title.Does this make sense now ??

I hope to hear anything from you soon.Best and thanks in advance.

@williamferchichi to add text to image, just add to Home > Design > Custom CSS

[data-slide-url="528u0bgumvbfnhuovbo63shxdc4jcu"]:before {
   content: "Image Title";
   display: block;
   font-size: 20px;
   color: #fff;
   text-align: center;
   margin-bottom: 20px;
}

528u0bgumvbfnhuovbo63shxdc4jcu is text in browser address bar (https://william-ferchichi.squarespace.com/528u0bgumvbfnhuovbo63shxdc4jcu)

Thanks a lot for these codes.I pasted them in Custom CSS and it looks good.

I can see a preview in white "Image Title"

But, I don't understand how can I change it, How can I write what I want.Do you know if this could be applicable to different images and change the text as well ???

Thanks

@williamferchichi Each image has different url. Eg. https://william-ferchichi.squarespace.com/528u0bgumvbfnhuovbo63shxdc4jcu

Look the end of url, you will see: 528u0bgumvbfnhuovbo63shxdc4jcu

in the code I sent, you will see [data-slide-url=528u0bgumvbfnhuovbo63shxdc4jcu]:before

replace 52...cu with new url, then replace content: "Image Title"; (replace image title text) with new text
