Is there a way to use a not yet supported currency (HUF) in the store?

If you are building a store on Squarespace, there isn't a way to take payments in Hungarian Forint.

Two options are:

1 - Show prices in HUF (you'll need code to display HUF prices) but take payment in another currency.

2 - Use another commerce platform to take payments. For example, Shopify can be added to Squarespace. I've written a free guide about how to do this.

I'm not sure I understand your subsequent question but let me try to clarify. Both options allow you to continue to use Squarespace.

The first option requires code to convert prices into HUF for display - but they'll still checkout in a different (supported) currency. Their card will do the conversion.

The second option requires an additional subscription (which will depend on how many products you are selling) to embed Shopify's commerce and payments system on your Squarespace site.

Of course, if you haven't started building your store on Squarespace, you could just use another service.
