Looks like I answered my own question. I found out that it has something to do with my phone's browser cache. Because I looked at the website before I added the logo my phone must've kept a memory of the old logo (the default squarespace one). I tried to look at the website with phones that never viewed the website, and the logo is up to date.

Good day, I hope everyone's doing well. I am having some trouble with the favicon/browser icon for a website I'm building. I'm using a transparent favicon/icon to basically make the website appear to have no icon. While this icon is showing on my desktop, when I search the website up on mobile it still has the default Squarespace icon. It's been like this for over a day. Why is this happening and how can I fix this? Thank you.

Hey CassAggett, I changed the favicon like you said. While on my it works is transparent on my dekstop, on mobile it's still the default squarespace block. How can I fix this? It's been like this for over a day. Thank you.

Good day, How can I remove the favicon/browser icon on my website so that there is no icon, including the default Squarespace block icon? I'm looking to make it completely blank. Some ideas I have are adding a completely transparent logo or something. I chatted with Squarespace support, and he suggested that I may be able to delete the default logo with CSS, but I don't know how. I've never seen this question asked before either. Any advice? Thank you.

I have the same problem and I'd like to know the answer. I also find it weird that when I edit my website on the phone app it looks fine but when I view the website on my phone instead it has those gaps that you described.
