Has anyone found a solution to this problem? Has it been fixed by SS?

I'm trying to decide whether to 1) purchase a premium SS template and then have my contractor install and build the site vs. 2) purchase a premium template and then have my contractor install and customize the site or 3) Also - how much work is it to make it look close to the brand and give the template some nice bells and whistles if you purchase a premium template? How do you explain this to the client? Do you show them the templates? They will see the price (which I don't want) Or do you just buy one that's close and then have the contractor customize it? How much customizing can you do with a premium template? And if you want to customize, is it better to build from scratch? Thanks!

Thanks so much, @paul2009. When do you usually advise a client to move to 7.1? Or when do you suggest they stay with 7.0? It seems with Fluid Engine here, it's a good idea for a client that is looking to really update the visual aspect as well as be positioned for future updates.

@michelle_barra_ did you find that this worked? I'm trying to figure out whether to help a client move from 7.0 to 7.1 and this would be a big project to move the blogs

Seems with Fluid Engine coming, it's a good time to take the plunge, and they will ultimately have more options. Also, how many more hours of work do I need to plan for?
