Adding a custom record

Hello, I am trying to update the domain name I just bought and add custom records to go to my site. I keep getting this error: 

Custom record not saved

We were unable to save this record. Try again later. If this problem continues, contact Customer Support.

Can you please tell me how I solve this problem?

Hi @Bridgettela - Usually that error means there's a conflicting DNS record. If your domain has a domain forwarding rule, make sure to remove that. Otherwise, if your domain has a set of "Squarespace default" records in the DNS settings, remove those and then try adding your new DNS records.
