Reduce Section Height Full Bleed Slideshow

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have a full bleed gallery right under the header on my client's website. I have it set not to auto crop so that the full image can be seen, but the section height is now crazy long. There is a massive blank area between the actual gallery and the next section (screenshot attached).

What code will change the padding/section height on desktop and mobile?

Thanks!

Can you give me a few more details on how you have this set up? This problem gets worse the smaller the screen-size I look at.

I added a blank section and used a Gallery block with the settings in the photo below. Then, I added a text block over the gallery. The text has a drop shadow.

I have tried to use the handle to make the section smaller but it is restricting it for some reason.

Hmmm the old gallery blocks don't play well with the FE grid. My best reccomendation is that you edit this section in a small window (ideally 768px wide, no smaller) and then reduce the gallery height as much as possible, reduce the section rows, and position the text, save and exit and then see if that improves the situation.

So I just cropped the images and turned auto-crop option back on so they still span the width of the screen. Now the block is smaller but there is still a significant amount of white space before the next section.

Is there a way to change the padding?
